Gideon has raised a large army but it is still small compared to the Canaanite army. Gideon sneaks up on the Canaanites in the dark of night. The frightened Canannites go into a panic and self-destruct. Samson marries a Philistine. He does not like the way the Israelites are treated and becomes very angry, much to the Philistines??regret.
