As people of faith we have a commitment to ensuring that the health of God's people and Creation are protected.
Presented by The National Council of Churches and National Religious Partnership on the Environment this resource, through a combination of interviews and narrative, will whet the appetite of any individual or group exploring a faith-based response to the health and safely of our environments: home, schools, playgrounds, etc. Accompanied by a study guide; perfect for an adult study class!

1. Jesus and Courageous Women: Women played key roles in sacred stories of the early movement of Jesus. This segment creatively explores the stories behind the texts about the women who encountered Jesus and were leaders in the early church. These women, named and unnamed, call us today to be transformed and to transform the world.
2. New Life on the Mekong: Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos: This segment offers a new look at the distinct histories and characteristics of these three countries and how they have changed. Learn how we can relate to God's mission there and be sensitive to these rich and complex cultures.
3. Abundant Living: Global Health and Christian Response-Ability: By examining the issues of health care in a global context, this story explores the concept of "Health for the people, by the people, and with the people." Despite astonishing advances in the field, many basic health needs go unmet, even in the United States. In caring for our own health and that of our families and communities, how do we as Christians respond?
