Written by Rolf Forsberg and prepared by the Council of Churches of the City of New York for the World's Fair of 1964, it tells the story of Jesus in the form of a parable and without language (a mime). A Christ figure appears in a circus sideshow. Other performers accept him into their midst. Although he is martyred, he metaphorically follows after them. A timeless masterpiece of storytelling.
