This program teaches people to recognize the signs of a depressed or suicidal person and to take specific actions to help them. Featuring Dr. Alan L. Berman, Executive Director, American Association of Suicidology, the video covers topics such as: understanding depression and its connection with suicide; recognizing signs that a friend or loved one is suicidal; the groups most at risk for suicide (young people and the elderly); and dos and don'ts for helping a person in crisis.
